Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan the same-day release continues dismal run at the box office in the domestic market, however, the former has found takers in the overseas market whereas the collection of Akshay starrer is negligible overseas also.
Both the biggies are on the verge of pulling from the theatres and have become affairs of few days, domestically. Contrary to this, Karthikeya 2, a recent outing from the south, is performing very well at the box office across the board, including Hindi market. The film has become a national phenomenon due to audience-positive WOM which in turn, translated into big box office numbers.

Box Office Collection Day 14
Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan will be pulled from many theatres from today onwards due to the arrival of Karan Johar’s much-anticipated film Liger, the advances of the film suggest that it will take a flying start at the box office in the country.
Now as per the early reports, Wednesday (Day 14) collections of both the movies recorded a drop, Aamir’s film and Akki’ film saw Rs 60-60 Lakhs coming in the cash register of the film respectively, as per the media reports.

Laal Singh Chaddha Box Office
Aamir’s Laal Singh Chaddha finds no takers in India but with the help of overseas collection, it managed to cross Rs 125 crores gross worldwide. The overseas figures of the film are almost tantamount to its domestic collections.
Not only this, it has become the highest grosser Hindi film overseas of 2022, as well, beating Gangubai Kathiawadi, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, The Kashmir Files, and Jug Jugg Jeeyo. At the close of two weeks, the overseas collection of Laal Singh Chaddha stands at Rs 59.72 crores.

Raksha Bandhan Box Office
Akki’s latest film Raksha Bandhan has turned out to be a disappointing affair as the film doesn’t seem to cross the lifetime of his other two releases of the year Bachchan Paandey (Rs 49.98 Cr) and Samrat Prithviraj (Rs 68.05 Cr). Going by the trend, it looks like Raksha Bandhan will wrap up under Rs 45 crores lifetime, domestically. The overseas collections of the film are negligible, it stands at only Rs 8.76 crores. The worldwide gross collection of the film reaches in the vicinity of Rs 60 crores.
