Box Office Collection Day 6
Laal Singh Chaddha was expected to see a double-digit figure on Independence day but much to the trade experts’ surprise, the film fared very low on the national holiday. As per the media reports, it accumulated Rs 7.8 Cr on Monday, domestically.
LSC now has no chance to pick up from here as it failed to gain momentum during the holiday-filled extended weekend. As per occupancy reports of Tuesday, the film saw an 80% decline in occupancy on Day 6 over the morning, afternoon, and evening shows. As per the trade estimation, it collects Rs 2 Cr on Day6 taking the total collections to Rs 47.83 crores.
From Tuesday onwards the drop will be constant. Going by this, the final figures for Aamir’s film will be in the range of 55-60 Cr in India, which means a big disaster on the ROI (Return on Investment) front.
