Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger has fallen flat at the box office within the weekend itself, the film is mounted on a huge budget of Rs 125 crores and looks like will suffer huge losses.
The film was opened with negative reviews from the critics and took a decent start in Telugu states, the collections went down drastically on day 2 as it witnessed a huge over 80% drop. It still raked in a respectable amount due to its Hindi release where it found some takers, on Friday.

Liger was flat on Saturday in Hindi, as the film clocked only Rs 4.25 crores, it was flat on Sun as well due to India-Pakistan cricket match, as per the trade reports, it collects somewhere between Rs 3.5-4 crores range, to take the total Hindi collections in the vicinity of 14 crores (including paid previews)

Box Office Hindi
Despite negative reviews from the critics and a further below-par opening in Telugu states, Liger started well in Hindi, firstly it raked in Rs 1.3 crores through paid previews and then takes a decent start of Rs 4.5 crores. Most of its earnings came from the mass belts in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Patna etc. As the film caters to the mass audience it has found some traction amid the target audience in Hindi.
However, it is remained to be seen how well it sustains on the weekdays in the masses as the second-day drop in its WW collections costs it hugely so much so that it has become an uphill task for Vijay starrer to rise from here. It still needs to recover over 65 crores share which seems a tough task.
