Vijay’s film “Liger” opened on a decent note at the box office, however, crashed miserably on its second day itself and since then the sports drama has been on a free fall.
Karan Johar-backed film didn’t find many takers and has been completely rejected by the audience at the box office. And as per the recent reports, many shows of the film will be replaced with Cobra from Wednesday onwards.

Box Office Collection Day 7
According to the trade reports, the total worldwide collection of Vijay-Ananya starrer stands at Rs 55 Cr+ with 1.25 Cr more came in on Day 7 (Wed), it has turned out to be a huge disaster at the box office, making around a 60 Cr loss for the distributors.
The box office run of Liger in Telugu states will end here due to the Cobra release, the sports drama will remain steady in the Hindi market on the lower side. It will collect 1 cr on the daily basis from here to end its theatrical run with a 60-65 crore lifetime.
Records 50% Drop
According to the Telugu BO tracker T2BLive, the film witnessed a 50% drop in the collection in the Telugu states. It accumulated only 6L shares on Tue for a total shares collection of 12.87 Cr (Rs 21.95 Cr Gross) in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It also states that from Wednesday onwards theatre counts of the Liger will be reduced from 930+(Week 1) to 170+ on Week 2 owing to Vikram’s Cobra release.
It looks like, the box office journey of Vijay fronted will end here, it is projected to finish its lifetime with 23-25 Cr gross in the AP-TG.

Box Office Hindi
The Hindi box office collections of liger remained steady through its opening weekend thanks to the mass audience but the film witnessed a free fall on Monday. However, the film has gone past the 15 crore mark in 5 days which is better than many biggies like Jersey, Dhaakad, Dobaaraa, Attack, and so on.
