MX Player’s captive reality show Lock Upp: Badass Jail, Atyaachari Khel!, hosted by Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is all about exciting tasks, dramatic fights and an interesting mix of some controversial contestants.
The Popular television producer Ekta Kapoor is producing the show under her production house Balaji Telefilms Limited and launched it in Mumbai on February 3, 2022. Kapoor described the show as the biggest and the most fearless reality show.
On February 2, 2022, she teased the show on her social media handles and on Feb 16, 2022, the trailer was unveiled featuring Kangana Ranaut. The names of five contestants TV actress Nisha Rawal, Munwar Faruqui, Poonam Pandey, wrestler Babita Phogat and actor Karanvir Bohra were revealed before the premiere of the show.
Further, Chakrapani, Saisha Shinde, Sara Khan, Shivam Sharma, Sidharth Sharma, Anjali Arora, Tehseen Poonawala and Payal Rohatgi entered the show. To make the show more entertaining, the makers added 6 more contestants as wild card entries in the show including Ali Merchant, Chetan Hansraj, Mandana Karimi, Azma Fallah, Zeeshan Khan and Vinit Kakkar.
The show is one of the most-watched digital shows since its premiere, after entertaining its viewers for the couple of weeks the show is heading towards its finals and contestants are leaving no stones unturned to prove themselves.

Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp has reached its final week and people are really excited to know about the finale date of the show. Though the makers of the show haven’t revealed much, as per media reports, the finale of Lock Upp will be premiered on Sunday, May 8, 2022 on MX Player and Alt Balaji.

Lock Upp Finalists
As the finale is near, every contestant of the badass jail is trying best to win the ticket to the finals and the first contestant who has succeeded in doing so is Shivam Sharma, who is known as the Boombam of the house. Recently the show’s contestants compete for a task in the jail for a straight ticket to finals which Shivam single-handedly won by defeating Anjali and Ali, who is the last contestant to get eliminated so far.
Talking about Munawar Faruqui, who is often declared as the people’s favorite inside the show, is one of the most popular contestants of this season. On April 29, 2022, he became the second contestant to win the ticket to finals.
Prince Narula, who entered the show as a challenger is known for winning all the shows he entered as a contestant whether it is Roadies Roadies X2, MTV Splitsvilla 8 and Bigg Boss 9. He again proved himself in Lock Upp and became the third finalist. The episode saw a clash between him and Payal Rohatgi during a task to reach the finale week.
