Bollywood’s queen Kangana Ranaut soon going to make her digital debut as a host under Ekta Kapoor’s production banner Balaji Telefilms Limited, the show is titled Lock UPP. Read on to know more details about the show.
Kangana who has carved her skills in directing (Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi) and acting is now getting into a digital medium for hosting a reality show. The show will be produced by Ekta Kapoor, both are collaborating after the 2019 black comedy film Judgemental Hai Kya.
According to media reports, It will be a reality show loosely based on the Intl show ‘Temptation Island’, It will have 16 contestants with a celebrity Jailer. While Kangana herself will be giving them tasks. Those 16 contestants will be locked up in two prisons for around 72 days or two and half months.
Lock UPP Premiere Date
Talking about the premiere of the show, according to sources Lock UPP will be premiered on the Indian video on demand or Over The Top (OTT) platforms Alt Balaji and Mx Player by February. And the day has come, a controversial top actress with 16 controversial celebrities from 27 Feb 2022, Sunday.

Kangana’s Other Projects
On the contrary, Kangana on Feb 2, 2022, concluded the filming of her debut digital film ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ which is produced by Kangana under her banner Manikarnika Films Pvt Ltd and stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur.
She herself gave the update through the social media platform Instagram. She said, “Today By the Grace of God We Have completed Filming of Our First Project of Minkarnika Films Pvt Ltd” further she thanked the cast and crew of the film.
Apart from this Kangana will be seen in Razneesh Razy Ghai’s directorial Dhaakad and Ronnie Screwvala’s production venture Tejas directed by Sarvesh Mewara.
