Kangana Ranaut’s hit reality show, ‘Lock Up’ created a lot of buzz during its debut season. The show is now all set to return for the second season.
The show streams on Mx Player and Alt Balaji. The first season was won by Munawar Faruqui while Payal Rohtagi was announced as the Runner-up, this is expecting one of the big digital reality shows in 2023.
Lock Upp Season 2 Concept
The show is hosted by Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. It is produced by Ekta Kapoor under her production banner Balaji Productions. Kangana will be in charge of supervising the activities of sixteen controversial contestants called inmates who will be imprisoned for 72 days within the Jail.
The inmates will have to win the heart of Kangana and the audience by performing tas and showcasing their personalities.

Although, there is no official announcement from the makers about the release date of season 2 of the reality show Lock Upp, according to some media reports, Lock Upp season 2 will start premiering in the last week of September 2023.

Here are some of the participants’ names who could be seen in the upcoming season of Lock Upp. Bigg Boss 14 Winner Rubina Dilaik is rumored to be part of the show as a jailer, last season Karan Kundra was the jailer of this show.
Rubina speaks on this matter and said this is a rumor, some popular names like rapper Emiway Bantai, Shalin Bhanot, Urfi Javed, and others are in the news to join this show but nothing has officially been confirmed yet.
