Love Goals is an upcoming Hindi sports drama film which is directed by Sameer Saxena and written by Biswapati Sarkar, starring Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and Kota. Factory fame Jitendra Kumar in the lead role.
The trio of Saxena, Sarkar and Jitendra Kumar was the permanent collaborator who worked in many The Viral Fever Series earlier. In fact Biswapati Sarkar, who previously worked as the Executive Creative Director and Writer for TVF, was the one who invited Jitendra to join TVF in 2021.
Saxena has earlier directed popular TVF Shows like Permanent Roommates, TVF Tripling, written by Biswapati Sakar. Both Sarkar and Saxena walked out of TVF in August 2020, and started a new production company named “Posham Pa Pictures” along with Amit Golani and Saurabh Khanna. Love Goals is being bankrolled under this production house.
Love Goals Star Cast
The film’s lead actor Jitendra Kumar who is basking in the success of his comedy drama series Panchayat, which delivered its most-awaited second season recently, doesn’t need any proof for his acting prowess as his excellence performance in various shows and movies speak volumes about that.
The actor will be playing a football player Magic Meenu in the movie and actress Aarushi Sharma, who has previously appeared in several Punjabi movies like Kaka Ji, High End Yaariyaan, Daakuan Da Murder and video songs is playing Kumar’s love interest in the film.
Other than the leading star cast, the film also stars actor -comedian Jaaved Jaaferi, who was last seen in recently-released Science fiction thriller web-series Escaype Live, aired on May 20, 2022 on Disney+Hotstar. Actors Siddharth, Shweta Tripathi, Swastika Mukherjee, Plabita Borthakur and Waluscha De Sousa also appeared in Escaype Live series.

Plot of the film
The plot of the film revolves around a small-time magician named Magic Meenu, who lives in a small football-loving town Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh State. His life heads towards a new challenging journey when a condition occurs in front of him in which he has to win a football trophy despite having no athletic skills, to marry his love interest but the problem is his team that doesn’t win a game in a couple of years.
Love Goals OTT Release Date
The film was earlier announced to be released in 2021 with its previous name Jaadugar that was changed to Love Goals later. The film’s release date was also postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. The film will be released on OTT streaming platform Netflix this year. The official release date is yet to be announced.
