Tamil film Love Today has become the top choice of moviegoers in the state. The rom-com drama has been winning the hearts of Tamil cinephiles ever since it hit the theatres.
The small film clocked in over ₹ 20 crores in its first week and seems not in the mood of slowing down at the box office. If trade reports are to be believed, it jumped by 18.22% on its 2nd Fri.

Following the success of the movie in Tamil, the makers now planning on releasing the film in Telugu as well, they made an announcement regarding this recently. It is said to be made on a budget of ₹ 10-12 crores and is bringing smiles to the distributor’s face recording stupendous occupancy even after completing a week.
Box Office Collection Day 8
The first week domestic collection of the film stands at ₹ 21.69 Cr nett. It has recorded a jump on Fri. As per the trade estimations, Love Today showed a jump of 18% on Sat to take the total collections of the movie to ₹ 24.2 crores, nett.
It is minting more than what it had earned on its first day, which shows the film is riding on terrific audience word of mouth. The advance bookings for the ninth day give a hint about the amazing response of the audience regarding the film. It has accumulated upwards of ₹ 2 crores for Saturday. And same is the case with Sunday pre-sales as well.

Pradeep Ranganathan directed, written and acted in the film, it is produced by AGS Entertainment. It also has Ivana, Raveena Ravi, Sathyaraj, Radhika Sarathkumar, and Yogi Babu in the key roles. The technical team includes Dinesh Purushothaman the cinematographer, Pradeep E. Ragav the editor and Yuvan Shankar Raja has given the music in the movie.
