After a successful three-week run in theatres, Pradeep’s film has now been released in the dubbed Telugu version. It has emerged as one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of 2022 and is expected to do well in the dubbed version also.
Love Today-Telugu is facing a clash with Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya and Telugu film Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam starring Allari Naresh at the box office. However considering the buzz it has created, it has a chance to emerge as the top choice for moviegoers in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) on Friday.

Pre-Release Business and Screen Count
As per the Telugu trade circle reports, the theatrical rights of Love Today have been sold at 2.7 Cr. And the Break Even target of the film is set at Rs 3 Cr. It has occupied 285+ theatres in two Telugu states. It has been released in 180+ theatres in Andhra, 150+ Nizam and around 60 theatres in the Ceeded area.
The budget for Pradeep’s film is said to be 5 crores, it has already grossed in the vicinity of 755 Cr at the box office worldwide emerging as a huge hit in terms of ROI. And the Telugu release will make its biz even bigger.
Box Office Collection Day 1
The film needs to recover at least 3 crores distributor’s shares to become a hit. The break-even target is easy and the talk is positive for Pradeep starrer, all it needs to do is to translate into BO numbers.

It has a chance to complete the break even on its 1st weekend itself to become the 19th clean Telugu film in 2022 after Yashoda, Masooda and Gaalodu. If it does that it will become the 4th back to back hit in Telugu within a month.
As per the reports, Love Today Telugu opens with 2 Cr+. It will have to show a tad growth of 8-10% on both Sat and Sun to complete the BE which is not a tough task.
