Maaran Release Date
Maaran is said to be the 43rd film of Dhanush’s career. The Hashtag of this movie with hashtag #D43 is being run by his fans all over social media.
Fans are very excited about Maaran and predicting the different dates of the release of the film. Earlier it was reported that it is gonna have a digital release. On the other hand, some reports are claiming that the film will have a theater release.

If this prediction goes right, the online streaming platform Disney+Hotstar would get its over-the-top release rights and it could be released by January end or February first week in 2022, according to some media sources, Disney+ Hotstar hints soon to come.

Maaran First Look
Production Company Sathya Jyothi Films which has bankrolled this action-thriller had released the first look of the film on July 28, 2021.
The poster of the film burnt the internet with Dhanush in an intense look holding a pen in one hand and crashing another person’s head with the other hand onto a glass table.

Maaran Star Cast & Makers
Along with actor Dhanush, Malavika Mohanan will be seen in the female lead role in the film. The film also stars actor Smruthi Venkat in an important role.
Production of the film was done under Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan under the banner of Sathya Jyothi Films. The Director of the film is Karthik Naren.
If we talk about technical work, Cinematography is done by Vivekanand Santhosam while editing is done by Prasanna G.K.
Its Hindi dubbed version will also be released after two or three months of the original (Tamil) release date. The Hindi dubbing rights of the film have been bought by Goldmines Telefilms, reportedly.
Dhanush’s Asurana: An award winning-film
Dhanush’s biggest success in the past few years was Vetrimaaran’s 2019 Tamil period action drama film Asuran, which was based on the Kilvenmani Massacre that occurred in 1968.
The film got an amazing response from the audience and critics as well. It was made over the budget of Rs. 32 crore and managed to collect Rs. 100 Crore plus, worldwide.
The film was also screened at 78th Golden Global Awards 2021, held in New York, USA, under the Best Foreign Film Category
Dhanush got the Best Actor Award (Male) for his role in Asuran at the 6th BRICS Film Festival Awards which was held along with the 52nd International Film Festival of India in Goa.
