Maaveeran or Mahaveerudu was released on the 14th of July this year, succeeding to touch 50 Crore Net at Tamil Box Office, one of the Highest Grossing Tamil Movies 2023. And now heading towards World Digital Premiere on Amazon Prime Video on August 11, 2023.

The film ‘Maaveeran’ is written and directed by Madonne Ashwin, known for directing the much-acclaimed film Madela which starred Yogi Babu. Ashwin won the Best Director award for the film. Maaveeran is bankrolled by Arun Viswa under the banner of Shanthi Talkies.
On the technical front, Barath Sankar is producing the music and background score of the film whereas Vidhu Ayyanna is cracking the camera and Philomin Ram has handled the editing work.

On Saturday, July 15th, 2022, superstar of Tollywood cinema Mahesh Babu unveiled the titled announcement video of Sivakarthikeyan’s bilingual film Maaveeran/Mahaveerudu.
The nearly 3-minute long video looked very promising and it seems the film is going to be one of the biggest Tamil/ Telugu action thrillers of the year. It has great action sequences and epic background music.
The video begins with some goons beating a man badly at midnight and as they start going back, a hand in shadow is shown, which helps the man to fight these goons and the man is no other than Sivakarthikeyan’s character. In the end, we also see a comic-style snippet of the action sequences.
