Actress Huma Qureshi is getting all praises for her work in recently released Season 2 of drama series Maharani, which went really well with the audience. Like its season which premiered in May 2021, this season also comprises 10 episodes.
The Sony LIV series is a perfect example of how political thrillers should be made. Season 2 is bigger, better and far more brutal and promises unexpected twists and turns with compelling performances.
Now, as per recent buzz, following the success of the second season of the show, the makers are planning to expand the Maharani Universe, so chances are high that there will be a Maharani Season 3.

Huma Qureshi & Kapil Sharma Give Hints for Season 3
Recently, Huma Qureshi took to social media and shared a picture with comedian and host of The Kapil Sharma Show, Kapil Sharma. She in her post revealed that Kapil Sharam is going to be the part of Maharani Universe. However, in her caption, she jokingly stated that Kapil is joining the franchise for a film Maharani Ka Bhai Ho To Aisa !!

Earlier, Kapil Sharma also shared some pictures with Huma Qureshi on Instagram and in the caption he asked fans to guess on which project he and the actress are going to work together. So, one thing is clear that Kapil is surely going to be a part of Maharani 3.
Maharani Season 3 Star Cast
The series was created by Subhash Kapoor Huma as Rani Bharti, the wife of Bihar’s CM Bheema Bharti, played by Sohum Shah. Kapil Sharma’s role in the upcoming season is complete under the wrap. He is set to come up with the Season 4 of his hit comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show on September 10, 2022 on Sony TV.
The makers haven’t made any official announcement regarding the series or its cast yet. However, the expected stars to join the cast in season 3 are Amit Sial, Pramod Pathak, Kani Kusruti, Inaamulhaq, Vineet Kumar, Harish Khanna among others. Some new faces are also expected to join the cast, as per the requirement of its story.
About the Series
The story of the series is partly inspired by the incident that happened in Bihar in the 1990s when Lalu Prasad Yadav made his homemaker wife Rabri Devi his successor. While the Season 1 covered the real life events and characters like left-wing militants and Naxalite groups and other issues, the second season covered the real life events like the 2000 Bihar Legislative Assembly Election, etc.
It shows Bheema Bharti running a proxy government from jail and CM Rani Bharti accused of misgovernance while Bihar fighting issues like anti-incumbency, jungle raj, corruption etc.
