Major whose trailer is making the buzz across the nation, will be gracing the cinemas near you in the first week of June, the biographical film is based on the life of late Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who was martyred during the series of terrorist attacks in Mumbai that took place in Nov 2008.
Now, ahead of the film’s release, makers have now decided to preview the movie in various cities to citizens of India. Major’s team has teamed up with the online booking site Bookmyshow to showcase the film, you can visit their site and check out the screenings of the movie in your cities.
Once you find your city on the screening list, further you have to register yourself, and then you will be able to watch the film before the official release in cinemas. The screenings begins from May 24th onwards across nine major cities.
Now, the latest reports suggest that the two screenings in Jaipur and Ahmedabad have sold out, both the shows will be premiered on May 25th at 7:15 PM and May 25th at 6:30 PM respectively.

It is the first time, that a big film has done something like this, Adivi Sesh who is portraying the character of Major Unnikrishnan, recently through a tweet informed that for the first time ever in Indian cinema, a big film has teamed up with a leading site to showcase the film to audience across the nation. In the post note, he also wrote that they feel that Sandeep sir’s story is something that needs to be watched by every Indian.
Talking about the film, it is a bilingual movie shot in Hindi and Telugu and will be released in theatres in the Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam languages. The trailer of the film is being popular day by day, it is being said that it will give a strong fight to Vikram and Prithviraj, which are facing a clash on the same day, and many also comparing the film with Shershaah and Uri.
It is bankrolled by south Indian superstar Mahesh Babu with Anurag Reddy and Sharath Chandra under the banner G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment, A+S Movies, and Sony Pictures International Productions.
