The film has already been declared a superhit worldwide, Major successfully crosses the breakeven mark of Rs 19 Cr and currently is in a profit of Rs 6.60 crores. It is now inching closer to the Rs 50 crore mark worldwide.
It achieved the tag of a clean hit in the home market on day 5, by crossing the Telugu state’s breakeven mark of Rs 14 Cr. The total AP/TG gross collection now stands at Rs 25.00 Cr with distributors’ share of Rs 14.95 Cr.

Major is shot in both languages Hindi and Telugu, while the film is doing exceptional business in Telugu, it opened with below expectation figures (Rs 1.10 Cr) on opening day in Hindi.
However, it maintains a strong grip on weekdays and it is expected that the positive WOM impact to be seen with the upward trend on the second weekend.
The film’s total 6 days Hindi collection stands at Rs 7.12 Cr and as per the early reports, it collected Rs 75 L on Thursday (Day 7) to take the total first week Hindi collections to Rs 7.87 Cr.
Major grossed Rs 1.90 Cr on Thursday to take the total worldwide collections to Rs 46.65 Cr gross.
