Adivi Sesh led film Major went past Rs 50 crores on Sunday, the film has been receiving praise since the previews. Power star Pawan Kalyan had recently taken to Twitter and heaped praise on the film’s box office success.
Now, most recently Chiranjeevi watched Major, the actor took to social media and congratulates the entire team on the successful box office run, not only this but the actor also honored and hosted lunch for the team of Major.
Talking about the box office collection, Major was opened with positive reviews from the critics and further performing well at the BO, it enters the profit zone on the first weekend itself by crossing the break-even mark of Rs 19 Cr.

The film has now got the tag of Blockbuster by churning out Rs 10.65 Cr profit in 11 day theatrical run, and became the sixth clear Telugu hit film of the year. Major is currently in its second week, the film faces first major drop on its second Monday (Day 10).
The film on Monday collects Rs 0.95 Cr which is far less than the prior Friday collections of Rs 1.75 Cr. However, as the film has already crossed the breakeven mark and currently is in the profit zone, whatever the film rakes in will be considered a bonus for the film.
As per the reports, it accumulates Rs 85 L on Day 12, the total collections of Major now stands at Rs 56.6 crores gross. The total AP/TG collections of Major stands at Rs 28.35 Cr gross.
