Based on the true-life events of the Mumbai 26/11 attacks hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, this biopic is an upcoming Hindi film that has also been shot in Telugu.
The horrific incident of the 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attacks has been reinvented with this action movie under the able direction of Sashi Kiran Tikka, produced by Sony pictures films India, GMB Entertainment, and A+S Movies, holding the banner of Annapurna Studios.
The story and screenplay penned by Adivi Sesh, cinematography by Vamsi Patchipilusu, music by Sricharan Pakala, edited by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi, and Kodati Pavan Kalyan. The film’s action choreography was handled by Sunil Rodriguez.

Major Release Date
Though the movie was to be theatrically released worldwide on July 2, 2021, the pandemic delayed its release and was set for its theatrical release on 11 February 2022 but was delayed again.
After the new release date of May 2022, the film now again has been pushed to 3 June 2022.

Major Star Cast
Along with the screenplay, actor Adivi Sesh also plays the lead role in the movie, taking Major Unnikrishnan’s character. Sobhita Dhulipala plays the role of Pramoda and Saiee Manjrekar is seen playing the role of Isha.
Prakash Raj is seen playing the role of Major Unnikrishnan’s father, K. Unnikrishnan and Revathi as his mother, Dhanalakshmi Unnikrishnan. Apart from them, we also see Murali Sharma in a pivotal role.
Major Movie Plot
The movie features the terrifying incident of the 2008 Mumbai attacks where Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan was martyred who was leading the NSG commandos to rescue the hostages caught at The Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai from the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists.
After a long fight, with many of his team members wounded, he decided to fight them off alone and is said to have fought them even after he was shot because of which he later succumbed to his injuries.
As per officials, his last words to them were “Do not come up, I will handle them”. The courageous officer was later honored with Ashoka Chakra posthumously on January 26, 2009. The valor and courage that Major Unnikrishnan showcased in real life were recreated beautifully by Adivi Sesh and will be carved in everyone’s hearts forever.
