The Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, an annual international film festival in Mumbai, is organized by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI), a public trust. Accomplished actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas is the Chairman of the MAMI Film Festival.

The 23rd edition of MAMI Film Festival 2023 started on October 27, 2023, and it is going to be a week-long affair. The last day of this festival will be on November 5, 2023, and the whole festival is being organized at the newly launched Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC).
The Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival’s 2023 edition will highlight South Asian and South Asian Diaspora filmmakers and performers. Thus, the South Asia Competition is the primary competition this year. The seasoned director Mira Nair has joined the South Asia Competition as the new Head of Jury.

More than 40 world premieres, 45 Asian premieres, 70 South Asian premieres, and 13 distinct categories will all be featured in the event. Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2023’s opening film will be, The Buckingham Murders, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Hirokazu Kore-eda’s Monster, Bradley Cooper’s Oscar-tipped Master, Anurag Kashyap’s crime-thriller Kennedy, and Justine Triet’s Palme d’Or-winning Anatomy of a Fall are a few of the highly anticipated films featured.
