Popular South Indian playback singer Manjari, known for performing multiple songs in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu movies tied knot with her childhood best Jerin in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on Friday, June 24th, 2022.
Manjari won the Kerala State Film Award for the best female singer twice; first in 2004 for the song Mukilin Makale and second in 2008 f0r the song Mullulla Murikkinmel.
It is the second time Manjari got married to someone; earlier, she was married to Vivek Prasad, a pilot in 2009, but got separated a few years ago.
Who is Jerin?
Talking about Jerin, he is the childhood friend of the playback singer. Both knew each other from a very young age. They used to go to the same school from the first grade and have been friends ever since then. Jerin is a native of Pathanamthitta and works as an HR Manager in Bangalore.
About the marriage
The couple got married in Kerala in an intimate wedding ceremony in the presence of family and close friends. The gorgeous bride Manjari was wearing a beautiful red saree and the god jewelry and gajra was completing the entire look.
On the other hand the groom Jerin was donning the red Kurta to match the outfit of his wife. Both looked very elegant.
After the marriage, the couple visited Gopinaht Muthukad’s Magic Academy to make their wedding more special and to meet the specially-abled kids. The newlyweds had organized lunch there for the children. This down-to-earth gesture has been praised by her fans on social media.
