Tejasswi Prakash is one of the top actresses of Indian entertainment industry, and she has proven it with her talent over the years. The actress is best known for her role in Colors TV’s popular thriller franchise, Naagin 6.
Her popularity touched the skies when she participated in Bigg Boss Season 15, in which she also emerged as the winner. She has also appeared in some music videos and now made her acting debut in films with the Marathi film Mann Kasturi Re.
Touted to be a romantic flick, Manna Kasturi Re has been released in theatres today, on November 4, 2022, and is being received very well by the public. The film is directed and written by Kari Biscuit and Pari Hoon Main: I’m a Fairy, etc.
Star Cast
The film stars Tejasswi Prakash in the female lead role opposite young actor-director Abhinay Berde. Along with the duo, the film also stars Veena Jamkar, Tushar Ghadigaonkar, Ajit Bhure, Vinamra Bhabal, Aasit Redij, Kiran Tambe, Praful Sawant, Abhijeet Kulkarni, Dhanashri Antarkar, and Aakash Mithbavkar in pivotal roles.
Plot
The film produced by Venkat Attili, Mrityunjay Kkichambare, Nisheeta Keni, and Karna Konde is a love story of two young love birds: Siddhant, a poor guy from a poor family background with big ambitions, and Shruti, who belongs to a rich family.
Despite coming from different family backgrounds, the two find each other compatible on the basis of love, but when Shruti’s father enters the scene, a sweet love story turns out to be a crime drama. Will Siddharth and Shruti be able to be together again, is the crux of the story.

Mann Kasturi Re has opened to highly positive responses from the public. The shows are going houseful at a time when big Bollywood movies like Ram Setu, Phone Bhoot, Mili, Thank God, and Double XL are already in line.
It witnessed around 26% occupancy in Mumbai whereas Ram Setu and Phone Bhoot witnessed around 8–9% occupancy. The performances of the star cast, especially that of Tejasswi and Abhinay Berde, are getting lots of praise from the audience.
As per early trade estimates, it takes a start of Rs. 1-2 crores nett which is a very good opening for a regional film and given the scale of the movie.
