Method actor Manoj Bajpayee was born on 23 April 1969 to a farmer and homemaker in Bihar. Today, he is considered among the skilled actors like Nana Patekar, Om Puri, Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapoor.
The actor was passionate about acting since childhood, went to Delhi at the early age of seventeen where he tried to join the National School of Drama but was rejected several times after which once he wanted to commit suicide.

Shool (1999), Aks (2001), Pinjar (2003), Raajneeti (2010), Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), Traffic (2016), Aligarh (2016) like films proved his potential and today he is one of the respected actors on Hindi Cinema.
Atanu Mukherjee directorial Rukh (2018) is a thriller family drama that stars Manoj Bajpayee, Smita Tambe, and Adarsh Gourav in lead roles and the film received positive reviews from the critics. Neeraj Pandey’s thriller Aiyaary (2018) received mixed reviews.

1- Bandaa
Manoj’s Bandaa shoot wrapped-up in the first week of December 2022, expected to release in theatres but the filmmakers decided to release it direct on Zee5.
2- Raakh
The actor will soon be seen in his long-pending project Raakh where he will share screen space alongside Bollywood’s known action hero John Abraham. It is directed by Milap Zaveri and produced by Nikhil Advani. John, Manoj, Milap, and Nikhil had also worked earlier in the 2018 vigilante action film Satyameva Jayate.
