The Tamil Film Industry is in huge shock today as it mourns the loss of the veteran actor-director G Marumuthu, who was engaged in dubbing for a TV show during the early hours of September 8th, 2023. The actor was also seen in Rajinikanth’s sensational blockbuster Jailer and is now streaming Amazon Prime video.
According to several reports, G Marimuthu was dubbing for a Television show Ethir Neechal, took his last breath at around 8:30. Jailer movie production house Sun Picture confirmed his death through their social media handle.
Marimuthu Death Reason
Twitter is flooded with condolence messages following G Marimuthu’s untimely demise today. According to several media reports, the actor collapsed while working on his dubbing for a TV show and suffered a massive heart attack in the studio.
G Marimuthu was taken to a nearby hospital after collapsing, but tragically, he was declared dead there. Tamil movie fans, critics, and actors have come together to pay tribute to his contributions as a director and his roles in approximately 100 films.
Ramesh Bala, the film analyst and movie critic of South Indian Cinema, shared a dialogue from his TV show, but sadly, the actor is no longer with us in real life.
G Marimuthu Final Rites
The body of G Marimuthu will be transported to his hometown of Theni, where his final rites will be performed either today or tomorrow. Marimuthu was doing a lot of work, he was seen in more than 10 films in 2022.
