Jennifer Lopez starrer musical comedy film Marry Me is gearing up for its digital release soon, Apart from Lopez it stars Global Latin singer star Maluma and, Owen Wilson in the main lead role. Marry Me is Maluma’s first debut feature film.
In Dec 2021, News Magazine Time and Review Website Rotten Tomatoes named the film as one of the highly anticipated movies of 2022.
Synopsis
The Global stars Maluma and Jennifer are essaying the celebrity couple in the movie ‘Marry Me‘. The storyline revolves around the musical superstar Kat Valdez (Portrayed by Lopez), who is about to marry his beau Bastian (Portrayed by Maluma) at a concert that will be witnessed by their fans and premiered on multiple platforms.
But on the day of marriage Kat got to know about Bastian’s love affair with her assistant that he was having behind her back. She breaks down on the stage and chooses a stranger Charlie Gilbert- a math teacher (Portrayed by Owen Wilson) to marry.

Theatrical Release Date
The Shooting of the film went on floors in Oct 2019 and was completed in Nov 2019, shooting took place in New York, United States. Earlier it was to release on Feb 2021 but got halted on the account of Covid-19, later makers decided to release the film on 11 Feb 2022 coinciding with Valentine’s Day.
Over The Top (OTT) Release Date
The streaming rights of the film are acquired by the American Over The Top (OTT) or streaming service Peacock, and as per the deal Marry Me will be premiered on the digital platform on Feb 11, 2022, simultaneously with the theatrical release of the film.

The trailer was unveiled on Nov 2021 on SM Platforms, The 3 minute 34 seconds trailer explores the romance of two total strangers the musical star Kat Valdez and a math teacher Charlie, it is well received by the viewers.
