After delivering Pan India blockbusters like KGF Chapter 1 & 2, 777 Charlie, Vikrant Rona, James, and Roberrt, the Kannada film Industry is set to deliver another highly anticipated Pan Indian film, ‘Martin’.
Touted to be a high-octane action entertainer, Martin is directed by AP Arjun, who is known for directing Ambari, Rhaatee, Mr. Airavata, Kiss, and multiple award-winning film ‘Addhuri’.
The film was launched in October last year and as per the reports, the makers have completed its shooting schedule, of late. The team completed the majority of the shoot in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Kashmir. They are now busy with post-production work.
Martin Star Cast
The film stars Kannada action prince Dhruva Sarja in the titular role. He is known for appearing in films like Addhuri, Bahaddur, Bharjari and Pogaru. Martin marks the second collaboration between Dhruva and director AP Arjun after the 2012 film Addhuri.
Actress Vaibhavi Sandhilya is the female lead of the film. She has appeared in films like Ekk Albela, Sakka Podu Podu Raja, Cap Maari and other films. Martin also stars Nikitin Dheer and Anveshi Jain in the key roles.

On Dussehra, October 5, 2022, on the eve of Dhruva Sarja’s birthday, the makers of the film dropped the first look teaser of the Pan India action entertainer. The dynamic poster features the actor in a rugged look, holding an assault rifle and smoking cigar. The swagger of Dhruva in the poster has arisen the expectations of his fans for the film.
Martin Release Date
The Pan film produced by Uday K. Mehta under the banner of Vasavi Movies, is set to be released in Kannada along with dubbed Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam versions.
It was earlier reported to be released on September 30, 2022, however, as the film’s filming was not completed it couldn’t go as per plan. The official announcement from the makers regarding this is still awaited.
Martin Teaser
The teaser of this much-awaited movie was out on Feb 23, 2023. Makers shared the news with the poster of the film. The teaser was launched at 5:55 pm on YouTube.
The teaser is full of heavy-duty action elements, and Dhruv is seen in a beast avatar who is on a mission to kill all his enemies.
Martin Technical Team
Director AP Arjun along with Swamiji wrote the screenplay of the film, with the latter penning story with Arunbalaji. Dialogues of the film are penned by Prashanth Rajappa, cinematography is handled by Sathya Hegde and editing is done by Mahesh Reddy. The film has music and background score by Mani Sharma whereas director-lyricist AP Arjun has penned the lyrics of the songs.
