Masoom Release Date

After giving successful web series like Grahan, Human, and Special Ops, the biggest subscription video on demand channel in India, Disney+Hotstar is all set to back with another thriller web series titled Masoom.

The show will mark the digital debut series of Boman Irani (3 Idiot fame), Mihir Desai directed it, and Gurmeet Singh serves as the showrunner of the series.

It is produced under the banner Dreamers & Doers Co. Banner owned by Reliance Entertainment. Masoom is based on the 2018 successful Irish series Blood, with a 7.1/10 IMDb rating.

Disney+Hotstar Release Date

Masoom will be released on the OTT platform Hotstar on 17 June 2022. It is a six-part psychological thriller, the series follows a Kapoor family, where a death of a family member will unfold the unspoken truth that clouds their lives.

Masoom Star Cast

It features Boman Irani and Bob Biswas fame Samara Tijori in the lead role, the series also stars Manjari Fadnis, Veer Rajwant Singh,
Upasana Singh and Manurishi Chaddha in key roles.

Trailer

Ahead of the trailer release, makers had unveiled the poster of the film featuring Bomana and Samara Tijori sitting on a lakeside. They captioned the post, ” Jo masoom dikhte hain kabhi kabhi hote nahi” which means ,” Those who look innocent, sometimes they aren’t”

The trailer was released a day after the poster launched, the close to 2-min trailer is well received by the viewers, as per the trailer, Boman Irani is playing a mysterious father, who has a dark past, Samara Tijori as his daughter who returns home in order to seek the bring the truth to surface, for which she can go to any extent even if it means going against her own father.

Masoom is based on the Irish series Blood, written by Sophie Petzal and starred Adrain Dunbar, Carolina Main, Grainne Keenan, and Diarmuid Noyes. it was released in Channel 5, British free to air channel.
