Hindi cooking reality show MasterChef India (Hindi)’s 7th season has finally ended. The show started on January 2, 2023, and it has since received immense popularity and completed seven seasons successfully.
MasterChef India is the Hindi adaptation of MasterChef Australia, which itself was inspired by British MasterChef. It was launched in October 2010 and aired on Star Plus with Akshay Kumar, Kunal Kapoor, and Ajay Chopra as judges. Pankaj Bhadouria was declared the MasterChef winner.
MasterChef India Season 7 marks the return of the show after two long years, as the last season of the show premiered between December 2019 and March 2020. Abinas Nayak was declared the winner of the show.

The seventh season of MasterChef India has finally ended. The finale of MasterChef India Season 7 was held on March 31, 2023. Unlike the previous seasons of MasterChef India, which used to premiere on Star Plus, Season 7 airs on Sony TV and is available online on SonyLIV.
Nayanjyoti Saikia of Assam became the winner of Season 7, and he received a golden plate, the Golden Chef’s coat, and Rs. 25 lakh as prize money. Santa Sharma from Assam became the first runner-up of the show, and Suvarna Bagul of Mumbai became the second runner-up of the show.

MasterChef India Season 7 Judges
The ongoing season of the show features India’s popular Indian celebrity chefs—Ranveer Brar, Vikash Khanna, and Garima Arora as judges.
1- Vikas Khanna

Vikas Khanna hails from Amritsar, India. He did his schooling at St. Francis School, Amritsar, and completed his higher education at the Culinary Institute of America and New York University.
He worked for the Taj Hotels, the Oberoi Group, the Welcome Group, and the Leela Group of Hotels. He has two restaurants called “Kinara” and “Ellora” in Dubai. He has been hosting the show since Season 2 and is back for the 7th season.
2- Ranveer Brar

Ranveer Brar was born into a Sikh family in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He was passionate about learning the art of cooking since his childhood, which led him to join the Institute of Hotel Management in Lucknow.
He has judged two seasons of MasterChef India, alongside fellow chefs Sanjeev Kapoor and Vikas Khanna in Season 4 and Vineet Bhatia and Vikas Khanna in Season 6. Apart from that, he has also hosted cookery shows such as The Great Indian Rasoi Seasons 1 & 2, Ranveer’s Cafe, Homemade, Health Bhi Taste Bhi, etc.
3- Garima Arora

Born and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Garima Arora pursued a career in journalism before becoming a chef. In April 2017, she opened her own restaurant, Gaa, in Bangkok.
In November 2018, she and her restaurant were awarded a “Michelin Star,” and with that, she became the first Indian woman to win the award. In February 2019, she was named Asia’s Best Female Chef for the Year by “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.”
She was earlier seen in Netflix’s docuseries Chef’s Table. Now, Garima is hosting the seventh season of the Sony Entertainment Television channel’s MasterChef India for the first time along with Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar. With this, she has become the first woman to judge MasterChef India.
