After directing Kartik Aryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Pandey starrer 2019 romantic comedy film Pati Patni aur Wo, filmmaker Mudassar Aziz is ready to direct another out-and-out comedy entertainer titled Mere Husband Ki Biwi.
As the title indicates, the film will be based on the concept of a love triangle. The film is going to be the 5th directorial venture of Aziz, who has earlier directed comedy movies like Dulha Mil Gaya, Happy Bhaag Jayegi, Happy Phirr Bhaag Jayegi, etc.
Aziz has also written and co-produced the story of Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha’s most recent release, Double XL.

The comic-coper will feature actor Arjun Kapoor in the lead role and actresses Rakul Preet Singh and Bhumi Pednekar in the female lead roles. This is going to be the first collaboration between the trio as well as the second collaboration between Aziz and Bhumi after Pati Patni Aur Wo.
On the work front, Arjun Kapoor’s most recent release is Ek Villain Returns, which received a mixed response at the box-office. Meanwhile, he has movies like “Kuttey” and “The Lady Killer” in the pipeline for the upcoming year.
Talking about Bhumi Pednekar, her name comes among the promising actresses of Bollywood. She was last seen in Anand L. Rai’s family entertainer Raksha Bandhan alongside Akshay Kumar, whereas Rakul’s recently released film is Thank God, which was released during Diwali this year.
She is now gearing up for the highly anticipated action thriller Indian 2, alongside Tamil megastar Kamal Haasan.
Release Date
Produced by Vasu and Jackky Bhagnani, the film will hit theatres in 2023, and its shoot will be wrapped up before the end of this year. The film was widely shot in the United Kingdom, and the finale schedule starts in a few weeks.
