Written and directed by Prajesh Sen, Malayalam musical drama film Meri Awas Suno was released in cinemas on May 13, 2022 and now the makers have given a new update about the post- theatrical OTT release of the film.
It was backed by B. Rakesh under the banner of Universal Cinemas. Jayasurya played the lead role as Radio Jockey Shankar and versatile actress Manju Warrier played opposite him as Dr. Reshmi Padath. It was the first time the two actors shared the screen.
Along with the leading stars, the film also stars Sshivada, Sudheer Karamana, Johny Antony, R. Madhavan, Gautami Nair, Mithu and G. Suresh Kumar in supporting role.

Ever since the film hit big theaters, there has been a lot of buzz regarding the post-theatrical release date of the is music drama. Now, the makers have come with some news updates regarding this.
The leading OTT streaming platform Disney+Hotstar has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film. However, the official release date is yet to be announced, it is being said that the film will stream in July 2022 on the platform.

The film’s story revolves around a Radio Jockey named Shankar whose world turns upside down when he comes to know about his diagnosis with cancer. After finding out that he will lose his voice in the process of treatment, all hopes are lost for him but Dr. Reshmi comes as his savior who aids him in accepting his new life and moving forward.
Talking about the film’s performance, it received positive review from the audience as well as criticas and grossed Rs. 12 cr. at BO. However, some called the movie interesting but too dramatized. Overall, it is the will scripted film with amazing performance from the star cast and left deeper impact on audiences.
