Bollywood’s ace director Anubhav Sinha’s production house Benaras Media Works and Zee Studios have joined hands for the upcoming coming-of-age film titled Middle Class Love.
The filmmaker is known for making films in serious issues and delivers acclaimed films such as Mulk, Article 16, Thappad. Apart from these films he also directed Tum Bin (2001) and Ra.One.
His most-recent outing was the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Anek which despite having a good concept couldn’t win people’s heart. Although the story, performances were praised, it received criticism for its screenplay and denseness.
The film is being directed by Sinha’s wife Ratnaa who is best known for directing 2017 romantic comedy drama film “Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana”, which turned out to be a blockbuster. It starred Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda in the lead role. Middle Class Love is the second feature film of the director and it has the music and background score by Himesh Reshammiya.
Middle Class Love Star Cast
Middle Class Love is a quirky romantic story that features actor Prit Kamani in the lead role. He is known for his roles in movies such as Maska (2022), Jersey (2022) and Hum Chaar (2019). Apart from him, the Ratnaa Sinha directorial also stars newcomers Eisha Singh and Kavya Thapar.
Eisha Singh is known for her roles in Colors TV’s show Ishq Ka Rang Safed and Zee TV’s Ishq Subhan Allah etc, whereas Kavya Thapar has worked in a few Tamil and Telugu films such as Ee Maaya Peremito, Market Raja MBBS, Ek Mini Katha. Middle Class Love Marks her Hindi feature film debut.
Apart from the leading star cast, the film also stars actor Manoj Pahwa in a prominent role. He is playing the father of Prit Kamani. He is known for his notable roles in movies such as Singh Is Kinng, Dabangg 2, Jolly LLB, Dil Dhadakne Do, Mulk, Article 15 and many others.

The makers of this coming-of-age comedy drama film revealed its release date, theatrically on September 16, 2022. Now Middle Class Love is set to have a digital premiere on 10th March 2023, and the platform is Zee5:
Middle Class Love Trailer
The nearly three minute long trailer follows Prit Kamani, a middle class boy who is frustrated with his father’s miserly nature and the simple and middle class lifestyle of his family. He finally finds a ticket to a better life when he takes admission in an elite university and has an encounter with the college’s sought-after girl played by Kavya Thapar.
However, further the trailer gives us the glimpse of Prit’s character falling in love with another girl, Eisha Singh, and a love triangle developed between them. It shows the journey of love and loss of the trio and how much difficulties they face as the circumstances change to a certain way.
