The show has made a cult fan following through its first season and it has seen an increase in the fan following with the second season, now after the demand from the fans of the third season, Amazon prime recently confirmed that the third season is waiting to hit the platform.

Star Cast of Mirzapur Season 3

It has an ensemble cast of Mirzapur Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Divyendu Sharma, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Rasika Dugal. Shweta, Ali, and Divyendu three are all armed in the posters.

Mirzapur Season 3 Release Date

Season 1 was premiered on Amazon Prime Video in the year 2018 it breaks all the records of viewership after Sacred Games, then the second season came after 2 long years in Oct 2020 then it became the highest viewership Web Series of the year 2020.

Amazon Prime Video officially announced on 12 Nov. 2020 for its third season, that it will also come Reportedly, the next season will be released around the third quarter of 2022 however, an official announcement is yet awaited.

Mirzapur Controversy

According to a report of India.com. That an advocate had filed a plea on the Mirzapur team regarding its character Beena Tripathi (Rasika Dugal) who was shown in the series in intimate relations with a servant, and her Father-In-Law.

The advocate had said in the plea that it is the insult of the Mirzapur city’s 30 lakh (Approx.) population and the culture of Mirzapur by showing such intimacy in the name of the city.

Further, the India.com report stated that Mirzapur might not use verbal, visual violence, and slang in the upcoming season. Some famous names like Kangana Ranaut raised questions on making such kind of crime thriller web series.
