Miss World Winner 2021

Miss World is one of the four International Beauty Pageants. The Names of the other three are Miss Universe, Miss International, and Miss Earth. Among these four beauty pageants, Miss World and Miss Universe are more popular than the rest of the two.

Miss World is the oldest among these four International Beauty Pageants. It is a UK-based beauty pageant that was created in 1951, by Eric Morley.

Eric Morley died in 2000, and since then his wife Julia Evelyn Pritchard Morley is the president of this beauty pageant.

Kiki Haakinson, who was from Sweden was the first winner of the Miss World title. She was crowned on April 19, 1951. The name of the organization that runs this pageant is Miss World Limited.

Miss World 2021 Winner, Finale Date & Location

This was the 70th edition of the Miss World beauty pageant, which was scheduled to be held at the end of 2019. But as we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world very badly and lots of people lost their lives. So it was canceled at that time.

On March 8, 2021, the Organization of Miss World Puerto Rico announced that it will host the 70th edition of Miss World, scheduled to be held on December 16, 2021. This beauty pageant began on November 21, 2021, postponed later due to 3rd wave and omicron.

As per Indian Standard Time (IST), it was to start at 4:30 in the early morning of 17 December, postponed for the next 90 days. Contestants from 98 countries participate in this beauty pageant.

The ceremony was to be held at the Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, which is the capital of Puerto Rico, a Caribbean Island. Hyatt Residency Grand Reserve was the official resort for the grand finale.

After postponement, The 70th edition of Miss World 2021 took place on March 16 (March 17 IST) in the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Karolina Bielawska of Poland was crowned Miss World 2021, holds Miss Polonia title in 2019. Karolina, a 22-year-old business student, plans to pursue a Ph.D. after finishing her master’s degree.

Karolina works as a model besides her studies. She wanted to become a motivational speaker or a TV host after completing her master’s. Modeling is her passion, she also loves to play some outdoor games like scuba diving, tennis, badminton, and swimming.

According to the report of the Miss World organization, Karolina is also doing social work through her project called “Zupa Na Pietrynie”, which provides help to people who are facing crises. Her group fights against social exclusion.

Miss World 2021 Host

The Grand Ceremony of Miss World 2021 was hosted by Peter Andre, who hosted this beauty pageant for the second time.

Miss World 2019 Tony-Ann Singh of Jamaica crowns her successor at the end of the contest. She had a two-year-long reign. It is the most extended term in the history of Miss World. She is the 4th Miss World from Jamaica.

Miss World Organization has raised 250 million+ Pound Sterling for charity, to help underprivileged children.

VLCC Miss India Winner Manasa Varanasi to represent India

Winner of the Miss Femina India 2020, Manasa Varanasi represents India in the 70th edition of the Miss India beauty pageant, got 11th rank in Miss World 2021.

Manasa was born in Hyderabad, India on March 21, 1998, to Ravi Sankhar and Shailaja. She completed her school education at Grand Indian International School. She further completed her Engineering in Computer Science from Vasavi College of Engineering, Hyderabad.

Manasa also worked in an American-based software company, “Factset” in Hyderabad, as a Financial Information Exchange Analyst.

She was among the top three finalists of the Femina Miss India Telangana 2019 contest, and in 2020 she won the same title. Apart from this, she also won the title of Femina Miss India 2020 pageant.

Earlier Manushi Chhillar won the title of Miss India in 2017 and became the 6th India to do so.
