Bollywood’s young and dashing star Sidharth Malhotra is repeating Shershaah success as his anticipated spy thriller drama Mission Majnu goes to direct OTT release, the film is about Love vs Patriotism.
Sidharth Malhotra is on cloud nine nowadays after the massive success of his 2021 biographical war film Shershaah, which was based on the life journey of Kargil War hero- Param Vir Chakra Awardee Captain Vikram Batra.
The success of Shershaah rose Sidharth Malhotra to fame, he was earlier struggling in Bollywood to make a major hit, but with this film, Sid shows his potential to do tough roles.
Mission Majnu is in limelight for a long time but failed to get a suitable theatrical release date as Bollywood movies at Box Office are struggling badly, Sidharth plays the role of an Indian spy who went to Pakistan on a covert spy mission, receiving positive response among New OTT Release.
Mission Majnu Release Date & OTT
The makers of this spy thriller earlier had announced the release date of the film, it was to release in theatres on May 13, 2022, later the production house RSVP pushed the Siddharth starrer to 10 June 2022.
Now the film has direct OTT release from 20th of Jan, 2023, available on Netflix which is not bad for the film. Recently, Vicky Kaushal’s Govinda Naam Mera direct OTT release received so much love.
Mission Majnu Star Cast
Along with Sidharth Malhotra, who is going to play the role of Rajat Goel, South Indian beauty and expression queen Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in the female lead role of Divya Singh.
Rashmika is a rising star, whose population is growing day by day, not only in South India but also in North India. Her blockbuster movie Pushpa: The Rise made the whole India crazy with the massive success and it became the highest-grossing 2021 Indian film with a massive worldwide collection over Rs. 350 crore.
After this massive success Rashmika will make her Bollywood debut opposite Sidharth in Mission Majnu, and it will be fun to see her for the first time in a Hindi Movie.

The announcement regarding the film was made on December 23, 2020 and the shooting/filming started on February 6, 2021 in Lucknow.
Mission Majnu Plot
The story of this spy thriller is based on a true event which took place during the 1970s. It will tell the story of a very dangerous and covert mission done by India, in the heart of Pakistan which changes the relationship between the two countries forever.
