The upcoming Hindi comedy drama film Mister Mummy is helmed by Shaad Ali, known for directing films like Saathiya, Bunty Aur Babli, Guru, Soorma, Ok Jaanu, Kill Dil, and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, etc.
The team confirmed the OTT partner even before the theatre release of the film. The film, starring Bollywood’s cutest couple, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, was announced on February 4, 2022, on the occasion of the 10th marriage anniversary of the star couple.
Mister Mummy Star Cast
Produced by Siva Ananth and director Shaad Ali, the film holds the banners of T-Series, Hectic Cinema Pvt. Ltd., and Bound Script Pictures Ltd. The film will bring back Genelia D’Souza and Riteish Deshmukh on silver screen after their 2012 romantic comedy film Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya.
The duo has also collaborated for 2014’s blockbuster Marathi film Lai Bhaari, as Riteish Deshmukh played the lead role, whereas Genelia backed the project and also made a cameo appearance in the film. The couple has recently announced a net Marathi project, Ved.
Mister Mummy also stars veteran Bollywood and Marathi actor Mahesh Majrekar as a doctor. It also features Eve Yasmine, a London-based songwriter-singer and actress, in a pivotal role.
Mister Mummy OTT Release Date
The film, based on an interesting concept, was set to be released theatrically on November 11 but shift by a week to 18 Nov, 2022 and the makers has also revealed the OTT partner for its post-theatrical streaming.
After completing its theatrical run, the film will stream on global OTT giant Netflix. The availability of the film on the platform will depend on its performance at the box office. It is expected to grace OTT four weeks after its theatrical release.

About the Film
Recently, the makers have released an intriguing and interesting trailer of the film. As per the trailer, the film explores the lives of a couple, played by Genelia and Riteish, who have opposite opinions on having children and becoming pregnant at the same time. The film’s posters as well as the trailer feature Riteish’s character flaunting a baby bump, just like Genelia’s character.
