Directed and Written by Murali Karthick, Mohandas is an upcoming Tamil dark thriller movie that is going to be released soon.
Murali Karthick is best known for directing as well as writing the 2019 Tamil crime thriller drama film Kalavu, which premiered in Feb 2019 on Zee5 and starred Kalaiyarasan and Karunakaran in lead roles.
The film is produced by the lead actor Vishnu Vishal under his own banner Vishnnu Vishal Studioz in association with Shubhra and Aryan Ramesh while the cinematography and editing are handled by Vignesh Rajagopalan and Kripakaran Purushothaman, respectively.
It has the music and background score by Sundaramurthy, who also composed the music in V.J. Gopinath’s 2019 thriller Jivi, starring Vetri in the lead role.

Actor Vishnu Vishal, who is backing the film, is the lead actor in the film and reportedly, is playing the role of a civil engineer.
He is best known for his roles in romantic drama Neerparavai (2012) and the psychological thriller Ratsasan (2018).
His latest film is Manu Anand’s directorial action thriller film FIR in which he played the lead role along with Gautam Vasudev Menon, Manjima Mohan, Reba Monika John, and Raiza Wilson.
The film was released theatrically on Feb 11, 2022, and opened with positive reviews from critics as well as the audience. It became a sleeper hit and was produced by Vishnu Vishal’s own banner.
Mohandas stars actress Aishwarya Rajesh, a recipient of SIIMA Awards, Filmfare Award South, and Tamil Nadu State Film Award, in the female lead role.
The actress was last seen in Deva Katta’s political drama film titled Republic, which was released theatrically in October 2021.
Popular Malayalam actor Indrajith Sukumaran, who is the elder brother of megastar Prithviraj Sukumaran, has been roped in to play an important role in the film.

The makers of the movie today on March 15, 2022, revealed the teaser release date of this upcoming dark thriller. The teaser will be released tomorrow March 16.
In October 2021, just after wrapping up the shoot of the film, the makers also released a horrible poster featuring Vishnu holding a bloody hammer which has three monkeys hanging like puppets and the fourth monkey knocked down on the side.

The announcement teaser was launched way back in 2020 in which the actor was seen killing a person by hitting him multiple times with a hammer.
