The previous year was the most exciting and successful year for Telugu actor Akhil Akkineni, as his Telugu romantic comedy-drama “Most Eligible Bachelor” is considered as the big hit of his career so far.
Akhil Akkineni, the younger brother of actor Naga Chaitanya and the youngest son of South Indian megastar Nagarjuna, made his debut with the 2015 Telugu action movie “Akhil”. The film got mixed to the positive responses from the public and critics as well.
After a wait of six long years, he finally gave one of the biggest hits of Telugu Cinema with “Most Eligible Bachelor” Worldwide. This was the fourth film of his career.
In the movie, Akhil played the role of a New York-based NRI, Harsha, opposite the dusky beauty Pooja Hegde, who played the character of a stand-up comedian.
Written as well as directed by Bommarilly Bhaskar, this movie is a big success for Akhil. The film was jointly bankrolled by Bunny Vas and Vasu Varma under the banner of GA2 Pictures.
Most Eligible Bachelor TV Premiere Date and Time
After getting an amazing response from the public and critics as well, this romantic drama (MEB) is going to have its first World TV premiere on January 9, 2022.
It will be telecasted on Star Maa, one of the most popular Telugu entertainment channels at 6 PM. The satellite was acquired for Rs. 6.5 crore by Star Maa TV.
