The advance bookings of the movie were opened on March 15, 2 days ahead of the release. And the response in the pre-sales was slow.

This movie is based on the real-life story of an Indian couple named Anurup and Sagarika Bhattacharya, who got married in 2007 and moved to Norway to start their new life.

The story revolves around a mother and her year-long fight against the system of an entire country to bring her children back, who were taken from her and forcefully admitted to Govt.’s Child Welfare Entity.

After a year-long battle and intervention of the Indian government, she reunited with her children in 2012.
