Created by Bisha K. Ali, produced by Marvel Studios, Ms. Marvel is an upcoming American series, adapted from the famous comic series of Ms. Marvel, depicting the Muslim-American character of Kamala Khan and how she becomes a superhero after gaining superpowers of some sort!
The Marvel fans are elated to hear the news and are awaiting the release of the much-loved comic series!
Ms. Marvel Release Date
Ms. Marvel will be premiered on the OTT platform, Hotstar+ Original in mid-2022. The series was to be released earlier but witnessed a delay due to the pandemic, you may stream the series from June 8 (English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil & Malayalam).

Ms. Marvel Plot
In Ms. Marvel, Iman Vellani plays the lead role of Kamala Khan, a Muslim, Pakistani-American who is a huge fan of Captain Marvel. Not believing in herself, Kamala feels it’s never the brown girls who save the world but is soon wronged when she gets to be that brown girl who does save the world at the end!
The story revolves around the fact that Kamala is the first Muslim superhero from being one of the many people in the mosque offering prayers to a totally opposite Kamala standing in front of a mirror wearing her sparkly Captain Marvel suit.
An avid gamer, a fan-fiction scribe, and an aspiring artist, 16-year-old Kamala is also a crazy Avenger fan, mostly of Captain Marvel. She struggles to find her niche in America, as she says she’s referred to as an American in Pakistan and a Pakistani in America!
What comes as a surprise to her is when she gains superpowers just like her favorite superheroes and begins a new quest!
Ms. Marvel Timeline
In September 2016, following the popularity of the comic version, Joe Quesada announced that Ms. Marvel will be featured in a different media very soon. On May 12, 2018, Kevin Feige uncovered in a meeting with the BBC that there were plans to present Ms. Marvel into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Following that meeting, Riz Ahmed and Mindy Kaling pronounced that they were keen on composing a Ms. Marvel film with Kumail Nanjiani.
In February 2019, after Captain Marvel, Brie Larson wished to see Ms. Marvel in the sequel. In June 2019, Mindy Kaling announced that she had had a word for a Ms. Marvel project with Marvel Studios.
On August 23, 2019, at D23 Expo 2019, Kevin Feige declared that Marvel Studios was fostering a surprisingly realistic series about Ms. Marvel for Disney+. That very day, it was accounted for that Bisha K. Ali was set to compose the series and go about as the showrunner.
On November 1, 2019, the makers revealed that Marvel Studios had started their projecting quest for Kamala Khan’s family. In December 2019, Kevin Feige announced that the series was relied upon to enclose creation by late 2020. On September 30, 2020, it was announced that Iman Vellani had been given a role as the title character in the series. On November 10, 2020, it was declared that the series had begun filming.
On December 10, 2020, Kevin Feige declared that the series would debut in late 2021. On February 19, 2021, Alyy Khan announced that he had joined the cast of the series in an undisclosed role.
On April 8, 2021, India Times revealed that Farhan Akhtar had joined the cast of the series in an undisclosed role. On April 10, 2021, Samina Ahmad joined the team to play an undisclosed role. On May 5, 2021, it was declared that the series had wrapped filming.
On May 11, 2021, it was told that the series had wrapped creation and announced that the first season would feature six episodes. On August 2, 2021, it was announced that the series would debut in mid-2022 rather than late 2021.

On November 10, 2021, it was reported that the series would debut in the mid-year of 2022.

Ms. Marvel recently released its teaser with a glimpse of Kamala transforming into a superhero where we see her wearing a suit of Ms. Marvel. The 16-year-old Kamala gets a new name and recognition in contrast to her not-so-popular character.
