Vadevelu starrer “Naai Sekar Returns” is a comedy film, It is a comeback release of the actor after a hiatus of 5 long years. It is carrying a good buzz surrounding it which is evident from the trailer of the movie which launched a week ago and garnered many eyeballs.
It is certified U by the censor board with an approved runtime of 2hr 24min or 144minutes. Over 6.7K people have shown interest in the flick on BookMyShow. Along with Vadivelu, Sivaangi Krishnakumar, Redin Kingsley, Shivani Narayanan and Andandraj features in key roles.

Naai Sekar Returns is helmed by Suraj and backed by blockbuster banner production Lyca Productions. It is said to be made on an estimated budget of 8-10 crores. As per the reports, it has occupied over 250 screens.
With the stated budget, Naai Sekar Returns will have to churn out in the range of 15-18 crores, nett in the domestic market to be called a hit flick.

The movie is a spin-off of Vadivelu’s iconic character in the Suraj-directed 2006 action crime, “Thalai Nagaram”. Tamil industry has seen hit ventures in the form of Vikram, ET, Thiruchitrambalam, PS-1, and recently Love Today.
It is expected from Vadivelu’s release to continue the hit trend of the industry, while receiving mixed reviews from critics and audiences. It needs to garner a good amount of word of mouth to gain momentum for the flick in the coming days. Reportedly, it opens with 1.50 Cr nett in the home market, Tamil Nadu.
