Nach Baliye is an Indian- Hindi dance reality show, where our favorite TV stars, along with their real-life partner or just partner perform and show their dance skills, and bring the trophy home.
Nach Baliye has completed its 9 seasons successfully so far. It is one of the most-watched reality shows on Indian television. It is aired on Star Plus and is popular in every Indian household.
People love to watch their favorite real-life celebrity couples dancing and performing together. The commencement of the show starts with a minimum of 10 celebrity couples who are selected as contestants in the show.
They perform in different themes and different dance styles every week, which is decided by the judges of the show.
Based on their performances, some scores have been given to each couple on their dance performance and each week one couple is eliminated from the show.
The elimination of the couple is based on the score they got from judges and the votes they got from the public as well.
The couples who make it to the finals fight for the trophy of Nach Baliye and the winner of the trophy is called the winner of the show.

Nach Baliye Season 1
(October 17, 2005- Dec 19, 2005)
- Winner- Suriya Pilgaonkar and Sachin Pilgaonkar
- Runner up- Poonam Narula and Manish Goel
The first season of the Nach Baliye season was produced by SOL Productions. Ten celebrity couples participated on the show.
Show was hosted by Shabbir Ahluwalia and Sangeeta Ghosh. Saroj Khan, Malaika Arora and Farhan Akhtar were the judges in the show.
Suriya and Sachin Pilagaonkar clinched the final trophy and became the first winner of the series. The couple has been married for 3 decades.
Apart from Hindi TV serials, the couple has acted in many Marathi films.
Nach Baliye Season 2
(September 25, 2006-December 18, 2006)
- Winner- Hussain Kuwajerwala and Tina Kuwajerwala
- Runner up- Yash Tonk and Gauri Tonk
Like season 1st, season 2 was also hosted by Shabbir Ahluwalia and it was bankrolled by SOL Productions. It was judged by Saroj Khan, Malaika Aroro, and Kunal Kohli.
The show consisted of 24 episodes, which spread over a period of 3 months. This season was won by Hussain Kuwajerwala and Tina Kuwajerwala.
Tina runs her fashion show business and Hussain is working in SAB TV popular TV show Sajan Re Phir Jhoot Mat Bolo.
Nach Baliye Season 3
(September 21, 2007-December 22, 2007)
- Winner- Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh
- Runner up- Rakhi Sawant and Abhishek Avasthi
One of the stunning TV couples Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh won the Season 3 of Nach Baliye Series.
Total of 11 celebrity couples participated in the show and it was hosted by the winner of Season 2 Tina and Hussain Kuwajerwal.
It was the first of them that aired on Star Plus, the early two seasons were aired on Star One. This season was bankrolled by Diamond Pictures. Vaibhavi Merchant, Isha Koppikar and David Dhavan judged the show.
The very beautiful Sanjeeda has featured in two songs in 2021. One is Toh Aa Gaye Hum, sung by Jubin Nautiyal and Saiyaan that is sung by Punjabi singer Jass Manak.
Amir was seen in Hindi dark comedy web series Blcak Widows, which was released through Zee5 on December 18, 2020.
The power couple Amir and Sanjeeda have parted ways and separated after a 9-year-long relationship.

Shalin Bhanot and Dalljiet Kaur won the fourth season of Nach Baliye Series. The couple got married in 2008 and won the Lokpriya Jodi Award in Star Parivaar Awards.
Dalljiet accused Shalin of domestic violence and filed the divorce case against him. They got separated in 2015.
Dalljiet is playing the role of Amrita in Colors TV’s popular drama show Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka while Shalin is playing the role of Maha Singh in Life OK’s periodic drama show Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
Nach Baliye Season 5
(December 29, 2012-March 23, 2013)

Season 5 of the Nach Baliye series was won by one of the popular TV couples Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij.
The show was hosted by Karan Wahi and Gautam Rode while it was judged by Shilpa Shetty, Sajid Khan and Terrence Lewis.
Mahhi and Jay are the proud parents of 3 beautiful kids Tara, Khushi and Rajveer. Jay did many Bollywood movies. He also entered Big Boss 15 as a contestant but later got eliminated.
Nach Baliye Season 6

One of the popular TV couples of Indian television Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi were declared the winner of Nach Baliye Season 6 on Feb 1, 2014.
It was hosted by Karan Wahi and Gautam Rode. The lovebirds Asha and Rithvik met on the set of Pavitra Rishta in 2011.
They began their relationship in 2013 but after dating for 7 long years, the couple part ways in 2020.
Nach Baliye Season 7
(April 26, 2015-July 19, 2015)
- Winner- Himmanshoo Malhotra and Amruta Khanvilkar

Total 11 contestants participated in Season 7 of Nach Baliye but the winning trophy was clinched by Himmanshoo Malhotra and Amruta Khanvilkar.
This season was bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms. It was hosted by Rithvik Dhanjani and Karan Patel.
The winning couple got married in 2015 and are happily enjoying their married life. Himmanshoo played the role of Captain Rajeev Kapoor in the 2021 superhit Bollywood film Shershaah.
Amruta made her Bollywood debut with 2017 Alia Bhatt starrer Razi, where she played the character of Munira.

Nach Baliye Season 8 was bankrolled by BBC Worldwide. It was hosted by Karan Tacker and Upasana Singh.
Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya clinched the trophy of Season 8. Divyanka is one of the most popular TV actresses and is best known for her role as Dr. Ishita Iyer Bhalla in Star Plus’s Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
In 2016, she got married to her Yeh Hai Mohabbatein co-star Vivek Dahiya. Vivek featured in Zee5’s Hindi action thriller web series the State of Siege: 26/11, where he played the role of Captain Rohit Bagga.

Season 9 of Nach Baliye was won by power couple Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary. It was produced by Salman Khan.
Hosts for season 9 were Manish Paul and Waluscha De Sousa. It was judged by Raveena Tondon and Ahmed Khan.
Prince Narula is a very popular name in the television world. Apart from Nach Baliye 9, he won many other reality shows including MTV Roadies 12 and MTV Splitsvilla 8 in 2015, and Bigg Boss 9 in 2016.
He met Yuvika Chaudhary during his journey with Bigg Boss and got married to her in 2018. He was one of the gang leaders in MTV Roadies 14, 15, 16, and 18. Yuvika also worked in many TV serials and films.
He also featured in the songs like Hello Hello and Burnout, which was sung by Prince Narula himself.
