Earlier, Neeyat was expecting a direct OTT release, but the film is heading toward a theater release. The Vidya Balan and Anu Menon starrer Neeyat Movie is set to hit theaters tomorrow, July 7, 2023. After working on the critically acclaimed movie Shakuntala Devi, Anu Menon and Vidya Balan once again came together for Neeyat.
The movie has yet to be released in theaters, but the makers have already announced information regarding its OTT release. Anu Menon is also the co-writer of the movie, which is produced by Vikram Malhotra.
Neeyat Release Date & OTT
The movie will be released in theaters tomorrow, July 7, 2023. After the theatrical release, the movie will be released on Amazon Prime as well. Although the makers of the movie have not announced the date of the OTT release, it is expected that the movie will be released on the platform 30–45 days after its release in theaters.

Neeyat Makers
The film is directed by director and screenwriter Anu Menon, who is known for directing films like “London, Paris, New York”, X: Past Is Present, Waiting, and Shakuntala Devi. The latter was the first collaboration between the lead actor and director duo, following Neeyat.
Anu Menon has also written the film’s story in association with Advaita Kala and Girvani Dhyani. The screenplay is credited to Menon, Priya Venkataraman, Kala, and Dhyani, with dialogues by Kausar Munir. The film is co-produced by Amazon Prime Video and Abundantia Entertainment.
Also, Neeyat marks the fourth consecutive collaboration between Vidya Balan, Abundantia Entertainment, and Prime Video after the biographical drama film Shakuntala Devi, the thriller Sherni, and the most recent Jalsa.
