Sabbir Khan’s directed Nikamma opened on a slow note on Friday, it marks the veteran actress Shilpa Shetty’s comeback after a long on big screens but failed to impress her fans.
Singer-actor Shirley Setia marking her big screens Hindi debut with this flick, she was recently seen in a Telugu film Krishna Vrinda Vihari. Nikamma is made under the banner Sony Pictures India and Sabbir Khan Films. Abhimanyu Dassani is playing the main lead in this masala entertainer, he debuted in the Hindi film industry in 2018 with an offbeat film Mard Ko Dard Nhi Hota.
Box Office Collection Day 1
Now, talking about the box office collections, Nikamma earned Rs 50 lakhs on Day 1. Many were expecting the figures in the range of Rs 75 to 1 crore but the film performed below par on the expectations.

The film needed to perform well on Sat and Sun to salvage the situation, it was expected to perform well on these two days as the film on Friday saw an increase in occupancy during evening shows due to mass centers.
Box office Collection Day 2
Bu the latest reports suggest, Nikamma saw a dip in the collections on the second day, the film accumulated Rs 48 lacs which is 3 lacs less than the Friday collections. Early estimation suggests that it will earn an amount similar to Friday on Sunday which is Rs 50 lacs+.
