Actress Sonakshi Sinha hasn’t been seen in any film since her last year release Bhuj: The Pride of India, a Hindi war film which was released directly on Disney+Hotstar in August 2021. Her role alongside Ajay Devgn was praised by critics.
Before that she was seen in a special appearance in Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer comedy drama film Ghoomketu which was also released directly on Zee5. Her last film which was released theatrically was Dabangg 3.
Now, the actress is all set to make her comeback in films with her next thriller film titled Nikita Roy and The Book of Darkness, which marks the directorial debut of her brother Kussh S. Sinha.
Sonakshi Announces New Project
On Wednesday July 27, 2022, Sonakshi announced her upcoming film Nikita Roy and The Book of Darkness along with its first look poster. The intriguing first look poster features Sonakshi in with an intense look on her face in the backdrop of a dark and dense forest. Have a look:

Along with “Danbagg” girl Sonakshi Sinha, the film also stars veteran actor Paresh Rawal, known for his iconic comedy roles in movies such as Hera Pheri, Phir Hera Pheri, Chup Chup Ke, Hungama and many others. He was last seen in recently released Sharmaji Namkeen along side late actor Rishi Kapoor.
Actor Suhail Nayyar is also roped in to play a prominent role in the film. It is his second collaboration with Paresh Rawal after Sharmaji Namkeen. He also appeared in Udta Punjab, Hotel Mumbai and Commando 2 (cameo).

The film is produced by Nicky Bhagnani, Vicky Bhagnani and Ankur Takrani of NVB Films in association with Kussh’s Kratos Entertainment and Kinjal Ghone of Nikita Pai Films. The film is being presented by Nicky Vicky Bhagnani Films.
