Kollywood film Oh Manapenne! is a romantic genre movie & is a remake of the 2016 Tollywood film Vijay Deverakonda starrer Pella Choopulu, which was a huge hit at the box office Telugu, made up of a mere Rs. 1 crore and grossed over Rs 30 crores (Approx.).
Oh Manapenne which means Oh Dear Bride! in English, revolves around Harish who is an unemployed youth who wants to open his own restaurant but his father is against it, things change when he met the lead lady Priya.
The director of the film is Kaarthikk Sundar, it is bankrolled by Satyanarayana Koneru along with Ramesh Varma Penmesta, made under the banner of A Studios LLP with the collaboration of A Havish Production, SP Cinemas, Madhav Media, and Third Eye Entertainment.

Star Cast of Oh Manapenne!
- Harish Kalyan in the titular role of Karthik, unemployed youth who want to open his own restaurant,
- Priya Bhavani Shankar is playing Shurthi, who supports Karthik in the film
- Abhishek Kumar in the character of Vishnu
- Anbhuthasan, Siddhanth, Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan, and Venu Arvind are also featured in the film. It is Karthikk Sundar’s debut movie as a director, he was the assistant of the known south Indian director A.L.Vijay.
Production & Digital Rights
Earlier in 2017 actor Vishal and Tamannaah were cast as the lead actor and lead actress in the film, but due to repeated postponement in the production, Vishal chose not to do the film as he was unable to give further dates to the film.
It was shelved at that time owing to the budget issue, Further, the shooting started on 11 Dec 2019 ended in Feb 2020. makers decided to premiere the film on a Digital Platform. Disney+ Hotstar acquired the digital rights of the film.

The trailer of the film was released on 12 Oct 2021 on the Think Music India official YouTube channel which owns its audio rights, within 1 week the trailer crossed 13 lakhs plus views with 56 k likes, viewers are appreciating both the lead actors chemistry in the trailer. it will be premiered on 22 October 2021 on the streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar.
