Kapil Verma’s directorial action entertainer Rashtra Kavach OM failed to impress the critics and the audience as well. It was opened with negative reviews from the critics, they severely panned the film for the poor narration, outdated story, and bad screenplay.
With the bad word of mouth and poor opening on Friday, it seems Aditya Roy Kapoor starrer will have a tough time at the box office. It is directed by Kapil Verma and backed by Ahmed Khan and Shaira Khan under the banner Zee Studios and A Paper Doll Entertainment Productions.

As per the trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film performed above expectations considering the negative reviews and the poor word of mouth ahead of the release. It did well in the mass belts, however, found limited patronage at the national properties (PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis).
OM collected Rs 1.51 Cr on day 1, the action factor helped the film to perform in pockets like UP and Bihar. As per box office India, it accumulated ₹ 9 L from Bihar, and UP ₹ 20 L+ taking the total Delhi/UP collections to ₹ 35 L. The Day 1 collections of OM stand at ₹ 1.51 Cr.

#RashtraKavachOm struggles on Day 2… Dips at national chains, but performs better in mass pockets… The 2-day total, however, is extremely low… Fri 1.51 cr, Sat 1.70 cr. Total: ₹ 3.21 cr. #India biz. pic.twitter.com/keHy33NkCj

The film clashed with R. Madhavan’s Rocketry, the day 1 collection of the film shows that there was not much impact seen in both the film’s collections as both the films cater to distinct audiences. While OM did well in the mass belts owing to the action factor, conversely Rocketry did well in multiplexes.
The Saturday box office collection is still very low just which is 1.70 cr. So total box office collection of Rashtra Kavach OM is 3.21 cr in 2 days.
