Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjana Sanghi starrer action thriller Rashtra Kavach Om, which was previously known as Om: The Battle Within, had hit the theatre on Friday, July 1, 2022.
Reportedly, the makers changed the name due to certain copyrights, however, they felt that titled Rashtra Kavach Om would connect better with the Indian audience.
The Kapil Verma directorial features Aditya Roy Kapur as a high rank Indian officer Om Rathore and Dil Bechara fame Sanjana Sanghi is playing the role of his colleague Kavya Sharma.
Along with these two, the film stars veteran actor Jackie Shroff as Om’s father of Dev Rathore, Prachee Shah Paandya as Suman Rathore, Prakash Raj, Ashutosh Rana, Bijou Thaangjam. The film also features Elnaaz Norouzi in an item number titled Kala Sha Kala.
Movie Review
Talking about the Rashtra Kavach review, the film had a slow start. The action entertainer film produced by Zee Studios and A Paper Doll Entertainment Productions, collected Rs. 1.51 crore on the opening day, which is very low for a most-talked about big banner movie like this.
The film’s screenplay is average and its story lacks freshness as many of the scenes in the movie are over-exaggerated and boring at the same time which brings dullness.
No doubt, the action sequences are talk of the town and the plus point is the performance of the star cast, especially of Aditya Roy Kapur who went through very hard physical transformation for the film.
We can only say that it needs a tight grip on the first and third day to cover the lost ground and if you are a die hard Aditya Roy Kapur fan that you should go and watch it.
Rashtra Kavach Om OTT Release Date
The opening was not what we expected it to be, so the film faced big failure at Box Office but moviegoers appreciate Aditya Roy Kapur’s action packed show, now Zee 5 confirmed the release date of its Digital premiere on 11 August.

The post-theatrical OTT streaming rights of the film was acquired by India’s one of the leading streaming platforms Zee5.
