As part of its 20222-23 slate, Amazon Prime Video announced the upcoming Hindi web series P.I Meena along with its more than 40 upcoming projects at its maiden Amazon Prime Present India event that was held in Mumbai on April 28, 2022.
The slate includes original series, original films as well as co-productions with popular banners in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu projects with the entire collection to be released in India over the next 24 months. It also announced the new seasons of its super hit series like Paatal Lok, Mirzapur, The Family Man, Panchayat, etc.
Also, some fresh series include Sonakshi Sinha led Dahaad, filmmaker duo Raj & DK’s Shahid Kapoor led Farzi as well as Pankaj Tripathi led Gulkanda Tales, Naga Chaitanya’s Dhootha, and many more.

P.I. Meena Cast & Crew
Actress Tanya Maniktala is playing the titular role in this female-centric crime thriller series. The actress is not new to OTT world as she has earlier worked in TVF’s Flames, BBC Studio, and Netflix’s A Suitable Boy, based on Vikram Seth’s novel of the same name. Apart from that the actress also worked in web-show like School Days, Feels Like Ishq, and Chutzpah.
Now, she is all geared to make her film debut with Santosh Sivan’s directorial action thriller Mumbaikar, which is currently under post-production work. Along with her, P.I. Meena also stars Jisshu U. Sengupta, Vinay Pathak, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, and Samir Soni in pivotal roles.
Bengali director Debaloy Bhattacharya is helming the series. He is best known for directing Dracula Sir, Biday Byomkesh, Roga Howar Sohoj Upay. Arindam Mitra has written the story and screenplay while Ronak Kamat is the co-writer of the series. It is bankrolled by QED Films.

P.I. Meena First Look Out
Along with announcing its title, Amazon Prime Video also dropped the first look of the crime thriller. The poster features the leading lady Tanya Maniktala in a dark room, holding a torch with intense expressions on her face. It seems the actress is trying to investigate something mysterious.

P.I. Meena OTT Release Date
Amazon Prime video has not revealed the streaming date of this crime investigation thriller show, we can expect some announcement regarding this from the series’s makers in the upcoming days. We will update the information as soon as it happens.
