Indian actress Payal Rohatgi who often makes headlines for her controversial statement is again in news but this time not due to any new controversy but for her wedding with her long time boyfriend Sangram Singh.
Payal, who started her career as a model, has appeared in many Bollywood films like Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai?, 36 China Town, Dhol etc., was also a runner-up of MX Players’ popular reality shows Lock Upp, hosted by actress Kangana Ranaut, trophy won by stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui.
Talking about boyfriend turned husband  Sangram Singh, he is actor, health guru and one of the finest wrestlers of the country and also appeared in a some of Indian reality shows such as Survivor India and was the finalist of Bigg Boss 7 (2013) and others.
The couple has also appeared in Nach Baliye Season 7. Sangram was awarded the title of World’s Best Wrestler by the World Wrestling Professionals.
Age Gap
Payal was born on November 9, 1984 in Hyderabad while Sangram was born in a Haryanvi family in Rohtak, Haryana on July 21, 1985. The couple has a minor age gap less than one year between them. Payal is 8-months older than her husband.

Wedding Date
After dating each other for more than a decade, Payal Rohatgi and Sangram Singh tied the knot on July 9, 2022. The couple got engaged on February 27, 2014 at a ceremony in Payal’s hometown Ahmedabad.
The wrestler had earlier announced the wedding date in May through an Instagram post. When Payal was in Kangana’s reality show, Sangram had said that he would get married to her as soon as she was done with the show.

Wedding Venue
The couple have had a destination wedding in Agra on July 9 in presence of family members and close friends. Agra’s luxurious Jaypee Palace was chosen for the three-day long big fat wedding.
Payal said that the city is known for Taj Mahal but there are many Hindu temples there people don’t even know about and she would love to find out all about them.
She further added that she wants people to know Agra for the beauty of its Hindu temples and her wedding is the opportunity to do so, that’s why they are getting married there. The couple married in an age-old temple in Agra in presence of their close ones.
