Directed debutante by Gowri Ronanki, Pelli SandaD is the romantic comedy film starring Roshan Meka and Sree Leela in the lead role. The film was released theatrically a way before on October 15, 2021 but as demands for the OTT streaming was high, finally the makers announced to give post-theatre releases on OTT.
Written by Shiva Shakti Datta Sreedhar from critics, the film despite mixed response, the film turned-out-to be a blockbuster hit and earned Rs. 20 cr. against a budget of Rs. 8 Cr. However, most of the audiences who watched the movie, liked it and praised the performance of the star cast.

Produced by Madhavi Kovelamudi, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner of RK Film Associates and Arka Media Works, Pelli SandD is set for its post-theatrical OTT release on Zee5 on Friday, June 24, 2022 after a period of 8- months.

About the Film
The plot of the film follows an aspiring filmmaker Maya, played by Shivani Rajashekar, who expresses her interest to helm the biopic of Dronacharya awardee Vashishta, a basketball player. She even threats to commit suicide in case Vashishta doesn’t authorise the project and tell his story.
The reluctant Vashishta has to narrate to her the story of him and his love interest Sahasra and how they fall in love with each other at the first sight. The main obstacle to their reunion was Sahasra’s father. How he convinces her stronghold father is what the rest of the story is all about.
