Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khattar, and Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer horror comedy drama film Phone Bhoot was released on the big screen, opened to a mixed to positive response from the public as well as critics.
Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entrainment, the film was released on November 4 and has a direct clash with other Bollywood mid-budget movies like Double XL and Mili.
Phone Bhoot Plot
The plot of this horror comedy film revolves around Ragini, played by Katrina Kaif, a ghost who contacts two insane, jobless, horror movie addicts, Major and Gullu. Amidst the family pressure to find work, both of them turned ghostbusters after they met Ragini.
Ragini makes their business successful, but in return, she asks them for a dangerous fever. What lies ahead is a crazy battle between good and evil, laced with funny ghostly encounters.
Along with this trio, the film also stars veteran actor Jackie Shroff, Sheeba Chadha, Nidhi Bisht, and Manu Rishi Chadha. The film also features Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, and Manjot Singh in cameo appearances in their roles as Hunny, Choocha, and Laali from Fukrey.

Phone Bhoot Response & Box-Office Reports
Phone Bhoot, made on an estimated budget of Rs. 25–30 crore, emerged as the viewer’s first choice in initial days but failed to make it big.
Having a run-time of 2 hours and 17 minutes, the film was released on around 1000 screens in India and grossed around Rs. 2 crore on the opening day, whereas on the second day it witnessed a 25% growth and grossed around Rs. 2.5 crore, wrapped up at 16-17 Cr at Domestic Gross.
