Amazon’s free video streaming service, Amazon MiniTV, is leaving no stone unturned to keep viewers engaged by providing promising, entertaining, and inspiring content.
With an aim to make its grip strong in the Indian market, it has been at the forefront of doing what it takes to grab the attention of viewers since its inception.
Now it has announced a new, exciting series titled “Physics Wallah,” which is inspired by the journey of Alakh Pandey, the founder and CEO of India’s EdTech unicorn of the same name.

Created by About Films, the biographical series has been streaming since December 15, 2022 on Amazon MiniTV, which is available in the Amazon Shopping app. All six episodes of the series were premiered in one go.

Directed and produced by Abhishek Dhadharia, the series stars Shreedhar Dubey in the role of the inspiration behind the series, Alakh Pandey. The actor is known for his roles in Gangs of Wasseypur, Raat Akeli Hai, and Masaan.
Along with him, the series also stars Anjana Saxena, Anurag Thakur, Anuraag Arora, Yatindra Bahuguna, Oksana Sidorova, Radha Bhatt, and Ishita Gagneja in pivotal roles. Sameer Mishra is the writer of the series.

Amazon TV on Friday, December 9, unveiled the trailer of Physics Wallah, which gives us a sneak peek at the motivational journey of Alakh Pandey, who dreams of an advanced and highly affordable education system for those students who cannot afford to pay the hefty amount of admission fees.
With this goal in mind, he embarks on a journey to establish an institution where students can learn physics even in the most remote areas of the country.

As the series has started streaming on the platform, people are sharing their reviews and opinions regarding it. It opened to a mixed response from viewers, and actor Shreedhar Mishra, who played Alakh Pandey, the founder of Physics Wallah, is the heart and soul of the series, as he carries the entire story on his shoulder.
He has done his part with excellence. No doubt the subject of the story makes it worth watching, and it shows how much struggle the protagonist has gone through to bring about a revolution in the education system.
The negative point is that, despite a good direction by Abhishek Dhandharia, the series has to rely completely on only one character, which is the protagonist. Apart from him, no other character has made a separate impact on viewers. Overall, the series is average but inspiring and received an IMDb rating of 8.7/10.
